Welding Generator

Sources of DC welding rectifiers are used, along with welding generators, converting mechanical energy into electrical energy. Welding DC generator consists of a stator with magnetic poles and armature winding and with collectors. When the generator armature rotates in a magnetic field produced by the poles of the stator. Armature winding crosses the magnetic lines of force of the poles of the generator, and it turns there is an alternating current, who, through the collector is converted to DC. For the collector pressed carbon brushes, through which direct current is supplied to the output terminals. Go to the terminals attached welding wires to the electrode and the workpiece. All generators have a magnetizing winding, fed from an independent source (separately excited) or from the generator itself (a self).

By varying the magnetizing current, continuously adjustable control circuit voltage, and hence the operation of the generator. In the generator will have a consistent and exciting winding with few turns. On this winding connected in series with the arc, current flows, is equal to the current strength of the arc. Sequential winding is partitioned. Include either all of the turns or coils of by adjusting the welding regimes in the stepped two bands. Welding generator operates on different electric schemes. They may be from outside the incident response (generators GEO converters SAR-300 SAR-500, etc.), with a hard or gently dipping feature (such as GHA converters PSC-500) and universal (CSP-300 converters and CSP-500). The most widely used welding generators with falling external characteristics, working on two schemes: with independent excitation and self-excited and bucking consistent winding.
