The sailors arrived back at the sail Bremerhaven finally opened the sail in Bremerhaven.You can experience Carnival mood, maritime atmosphere and a touch of Mediterranean serenity during the sail in Bremerhaven. The sail 2010 was opened by the Lord Mayor of the city of Bremerhaven and inside Mister from Berlin. The weather was. The entire harbour area including the Councillors was very well attended. Expected back over 1 million visitors.
So you heard around noon on the second day of the sail, that all parking in the downtown area are occupied. About 240 sailors, from the medieval Hanseatic COG to modern sailing ship, can be admired. Most of the ships are to visit during the day. Or to book a short trip on one of the larger Seglschiffe. The programme is rich. Young and old come here fully at your expense. The present 08 sail 2010 deals not only with ships, but offers a unique collection of tourist attractions, which correspond to the “Sailauftrag” around the event grounds. To mention are the “German emigration Center”, the “Climatehouse”, the “Mediterraneo”, the “Hotel sail city” and,… The sail unites people and cultures. We look forward to the sail in one of the most modern cities in Europe for port management, Shipbuilding, container handling and maritime research.
